The France Excellence Pakistan – Climate Change Scholarship 2027 is an opportunity for eligible Pakistani students to pursue selected master’s programmes in France. The call announced by Campus France Pakistan and the French Embassy focuses on programmes that can build knowledge and skills relevant to climate-change adaptation and related environmental, scientific, food-system and economic challenges.
This scholarship call covers only the five degree programmes named in the official announcement. Applying to another French degree through Etudes en France does not automatically make that programme eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Benefits
- Tuition fees for the selected eligible programme.
- A monthly living allowance. The official call does not specify the amount on its scholarship page; consult the official announcement for any updates.
- One return air ticket between Pakistan and France.
- Student-visa and Etudes en France fee support, subject to the reimbursement conditions stated in the official call.
- Social security coverage as described by the scholarship programme.
- Assistance finding affordable student accommodation, including priority access to CROUS residences when available.
- Free French-language classes before departure to France.
Accommodation assistance is not a guarantee of a particular residence. Applicants should read the official conditions and confirm the details that apply to their award.
Who Can Apply?
According to the 2027 call, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Pakistani national.
- Be no older than 28 at the time of application.
- Hold a four-year bachelor’s degree, or be enrolled in the fourth year of that degree.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 from a Pakistani university recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Have no more than a two-year gap after completing the undergraduate degree.
- Submit the application before 18 November 2026.
- Commit to engaging with Campus France Pakistan and providing communication content during studies in France.
French-language knowledge is an advantage but is not mandatory under the scholarship call. Applicants must also meet the admission requirements of their chosen degree. Meeting the scholarship criteria does not guarantee admission or selection.

How to Apply
- Read the official scholarship call. Confirm the current eligibility rules, deadline and the programme you intend to pursue.
- Choose one of the five eligible programmes. Review its admission criteria and required documents on the university’s official website.
- Prepare your application materials. Follow the university and Etudes en France instructions. Check the current document checklist rather than relying on an unofficial list.
- Apply through Etudes en France. The official call says applicants may select up to seven programmes on the platform, but only the five programmes listed for this scholarship are eligible for this award.
- Complete additional university applications where required. IMT Atlantique and INP Pagora require applications on their own platforms as well as through Etudes en France. Both submissions are compulsory for these programmes.
- Submit before the deadline. The scholarship call gives 18 November 2026 as the closing date. Do not wait until the final day.
- Check your application status and messages. Monitor the official platform and your registered email for requests or updates. Follow the official instructions for any subsequent steps.
Application Fee and Reimbursement
The scholarship call lists an Etudes en France fee of PKR 30,000 and states that reimbursement may be requested after the applicant is awarded the scholarship. Because fee rules and payment instructions can change or differ by circumstance, applicants should verify the current conditions directly with Campus France Pakistan before paying. Do not assume reimbursement is available if you are not selected.
Selection Considerations
The official call says applications are assessed on academic excellence and the consistency and quality of the statement of purpose. English proficiency is also taken into account. French-language knowledge and a link between the applicant’s current Pakistani institution and the future French institution may be additional advantages. The announcement also encourages applications from women and gives attention to gender equality and representation across Pakistan’s provinces.
For two-year master’s programmes, scholarship renewal at Master 2 depends on passing all first-year examinations without a retake, according to the call. The courses and any required second-year internship must take place in France; the scholarship cannot fund an international mobility period. Recipients are expected to attend the programme for which they are selected and cannot switch programmes between Master 1 and Master 2 under the stated conditions.
